Control of Noise at Work Regulations - Noise Assessments
The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 contain three "Action Levels" to assess the severity of employee exposure to noise and what procedures need to be undertaken by the employer under law to comply with the Regulations.
To assess the implications to the employer of the above Control of Noise at Work Regulations will require a detailed investigation of workplace noise levels and employee working practices (i.e. individual exposure periods during a normal working day/week).
Such an assessment will enable Three Spires to develop the most pragmatic approach to protecting employees from excessive occupational noise, and to satisfying the Health and Safety Executive Inspectors, by a variety of mitigation techniques.
We can provide the following services to clients:
-
Assessment of Occupational Noise Exposure with respect to the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005
-
Occupational noise measurements undertaken at strategic positions to establish the noise climate within work area
-
Personal dosimetry measurements undertaken on a number of staff in order to calculate their individual noise exposures
-
Hearing protection Evaluation and assessment
-
Action plans regarding noise control, physical measures, management
-
Production of detailed written reports
